Bellevue Square mall-

People are often mistaken about where i grew up. I actually grew up in Woodinville and moved to Bellevue when i was about 16. Bellevue Square is about a mile and a half from my house, in fact i probably waste gas actually driving; it's actually probably easier for me to walk. Anyways, over the past 6-7 years I have seen Bellevue square change from being a humble, normal washington mall, to just in the past year turning into a monstrosity of overpriced clothing. Ok fine, thats an overstatement, Bellevue Square has some fantastic stores.

1. Nordstrom--I GENUINELY swear by this store. I would completely trust them with my life if i could. Nordstrom carries quality and style while maintaining fantastic customer service. My favorite department is the designer shoes department. You can get Christian Louboutin, Chanel, Jimmy Choo, LAMB, Tory Birch, Burberry, and Manolos all in one stop. The best thing about Nordstrom is their service. Lets say you buy a a pair of Chanels and something happens for example the heel breaks. You can actually take it back and Nordstrom will either fix it for free OR give you a new pair. I know amazing. If you need basics BP has great cardigans, long sleeve shirts etc, TBD is great for jeans and they really are educated on all types of. Savy carries mid range designers which i love such as LAMB and Marc by Marc. I just invested in a pair of chanel sunglasses for my post op lasik surgery look, and the sales woman sent me a get well card! Im telling you Nordstrom in bellevue is the place to shop.

2. Aritzia--Trendy clothing has never been so easy to find in bellevue. Artizia is a store originating in Canada and is such a breathe of fresh air next to the overly loud and overpriced Abercrombie and Hollister. They carry large brands such as Kensie but also carry some more trendy, little pricier brands such as Mackage. If you are looking for a new jacket whatever season, either a trench, wool, or leather, Mackage makes classy, vintage inspired jackets. Aritzia ranges from about $30 for a top all the way up to $700 for a Mackage leather jacket. Great store i love it and the girls that work there are very nice.

3. Mercer & Co-they carry all the same brands as TBD in nordstrom except with a terrible return policy. Their sales are fantastic, and with this recession, they are pretty much having one every week. Great store for party dresses.

4. Marqsmen (this is for the boys)--I love this store. If i had a boyfriend i would make him shop in this store. I understand its a little pricey however, for guys this store is a perfect balance of trendy and classic. Their cashmere argyle sweaters are gorgeous. Guys should buy clothes that fit and they are great if you need help picking out jeans. Im not a proponent of super tight pants on guys because really i dont want to see all that but form fitting, well tailored pants are so essential and marqsmen does have that. So please boys, stop with the stripped button down/metallic shirts from express and invest in some sweaters, cardigans, and clean colored tailored shirts from marqsmen. Thank you.

ok thats all for now i need to rest my eyes.
